The Consortium will
provide a number of services to support independent bookmakers.
The range of services which we currently provide and others which we intend to provide
in the future are listed below;
A managed data feed for Finsoft MarginMaker2 EPoS systems

An integrated TV channel incorporating SIS and Turf TV content
In 2008 the Consortium initiated legal
action against Turf TV who provide an “unbundled content and
third party distribution package“ to the Big 3 bookmakers;
Ladbrokes, William Hill and Coral and have since allowed a similar
service to Betfred. Turf TV refused to provide the Consortium with a similar service
although there was widespread support within the independent sector.
Unfortunately legal action has since been dropped due to the escalating
costs.
A managed
ante-post, early price & sports betting service for Alphameric Slip
Capture and Albos display systems
Alphameric have made it clear to the Consortium
that they will not provide us with the same access to their
customers as they have to other suppliers. We have therefore
dropped any plans for supporting their legacy systems; SCS and Albos.
We believe that the combination of Finsoft EPoS and iSIS Genus
display systems provide a comprehensive and flexible IT solution for
the independent bookmaker and we are please to recommend these
products.
